FC Cincinnati blew out projected merchandise sales

FC Cincinnati blew out projected merchandise sales, and it should only be a good sign for things to come. The club has had better attendance than 10 MLS teams, and they continue to bring a hype around themselves and soccer to the Queen City.

According to Cincinnati.com's Jason Williams, the team sold $1.6 million in merchandise and blew out its goal of $600k in sales. FCC has grown widely popular around the city, and with MLS aspirations, the merchandise sales should only continue to go up from here.

The ticket sales for FCC could be even more outstanding than the merchandise sales. With two huge games against the Columbus Crew and recently announced Valencia C.F. coming up, the second-year USL club continues to experience exponential growth in just about every area.

On June 12, the team will announce plans regarding a stadium. Along with the aforementioned friendly, the club continues to build a stellar reputation, so seeing incredible merchandise sales is a great sight.
