FCC to host La Liga opponent in international friendly

FC Cincinnati announced that they will host a La Liga opponent in an international friendly on July 24. Due to some issues, the team didn't announce the exact opponent, but it will be incredible. Team likes FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid, and other play in the La Liga.

FCC had an electric crowd in last year's international friendly in which they suffered a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace. That game, according to Cincinnati.com, set an Ohio soccer attendance record with 35,061.

Now, FCC is planning another friendly, and it should match and possibly exceed expectations. The team has met and exceeded attendance records as they average more people per game than 10 MLS clubs.

Even though FCC is barely holding onto a playoff spot (4-5-3 in USL play), the team has still brought in thousands of fans for each game, and this international friendly will most likely be another huge sell out for the crowd. This was an excellent job by the executive team for figuring out how to schedule this.
