FC Cincinnati vs Valencia CF: What to expect on Monday Night

FC Cincinnati will host it's second international friendly in the club's short history on Monday night at Nippert Stadium. They will welcome in Valencia CF, a six time Spanish league champion and a seven time Copa del Rey winner.

Valencia will be playing their fourth friendly this Since starting their North American tour they have lost to the New York Cosmos of the NASL 2-0. During the match against the Cosmos, Rodrigo Moreno and Ezequiel Garay both picked up muscle injuries and will fly directly back to Spain.
Other big names not making the trip to Cincinnati are Joao Cancelo, Jose Gaya, Carlos Soler and Luis Nani. Those six players made 136 starts last year for Valencia, a year that saw the Bats finish 12th in La Liga.

One big name the FC Cincinnati fans can expect to see is Simone Zaza. The Italian striker was first on the team with six goals last season, while only playing in 20 of the Bats' matches. They will also be seeing Brazilian goalie, Neto.

For FC Cincinnati, they are just coming off an impressive home victory over Harrisburg City. They played their best starting XI in that game, so seeing some of the recent transfers is likely.
