Allan Cruz's brilliant backheel goal named MLS Goal of the Week

FC Cincinnati's 3-0 win over the Portland Timbers brought fans to their feet on multiple occasions. However, there may not have been a time that Nippert Stadium was louder than after Allan Cruz's insane backheel goal.

That goal was named MLS's Goal of the Week.

Here's a replay of the goal.
Cruz's goal received 32% of the vote, barely edging out Jordan Morris' goal for the Seattle Sounders and Wayne Rooney's goal for DC United. This was Cruz's first MLS goal of his career, putting FCC up 2-0 in a game that'd put the team on the national spotlight.

Cruz will not be available for the club's fourth game, on international assignment for Costa Rica.
