FC Cincinnati records second highest Week 3 attendance, 3x that of the Columbus Crew

Cincinnati, take a bow!

Not only did they put an absolute beatdown on Portland, dominating the Timbers to a 3-0 result, but they packed a sold-out crowd to watch it.

The official total was 32,250, the maximum capacity of Nippert Stadium which is down about eight thousand from last season due to a few small changes to the well-recognized stadium. This will be FC Cincinnati's largest attendance for quite some time given that their new, soccer-specific stadium won't fit quite as many fans.

Here is the breakdown of attendance for each Week 3 game.
For FCC fans, this was expected. However, their total rivaled even Atlanta United FC, the top expansion team from just a few years ago. FCC will be looking to mimic the success that Atlanta has had over the last few seasons, hoping to claim their own MLS title in the next half a decade.

On top of all that, FC Cincinnati has seemingly stolen all the Ohio soccer fans.

Their club's inaugural match saw more than three times the amount of fans as Columbus' home match. With two wins and one tie through three, Columbus is off to a hot start yet hasn't the fan base to back up their phenomenal roster.
