It's Official: FC Cincinnati's inaugural home opener is sold out

Yes, you read that right.

FC Cincinnati's inaugural home opener will be sold out. However, that doesn't mean that it's too late to buy tickets.

There will be plenty of tickets sold on third-party sites like StubHub and Ticketmaster leading up to the game. If you're looking there, just save yourself the money next time and prepare ahead of time.

Taking place on Sunday at 5 p.m. EST, the capacity, at max, is expected to be 32,250. It was down from the almost 40,000 last season with no reason on why or what caused the shrinkage.

What we do know is fans better be prepared to make noise. With a sold-out crowd, many of which are season ticket holders, the Bailey, the general admission and every corner of Nippert Stadium will be on fire for 90 minutes.

With a 0-1-1 record, FCC escaped its first two games with just one loss.

Playing a perennially elite Seattle team and the 2018 MLS champions, Atlanta United; escaping with one point shouldn't be frowned upon by management and supporters. This team could've easily taken down Atlanta with just a few calls going their way too. However, that's just not how it went down.

At large, this may be FCC's best shot at three points all season long. Although they could still come out without a single point, FCC will be playing a weak Portland Timbers team that gave up four goals to LAFC and tied the Colorado Rapids who played 63 minutes with ten men.

They've given up seven goals in two games so this could be a high-scoring affair! That said, get ready FCC fans.

This is it. This is what we've been waiting for. Be there and be loud!
